Healthy eating will lower the chances of getting diabetes, but is not always the case.

There is no one line answer as to what a diabetic diet really is. The goal of a diabetes diet is to limit the amount of glucose that is put into the body. We are not totally limiting the amount of glucose in the body, but simply controlling it according the level of insulin in the body.
