Frequent Urination.
Type 1 diabetes patients usually experience frequent urination each day because if the blood sugar level is higher then normal it will make the kidney fail to process and distribute the glucose. It will also make the urine concentrated higher because of the high glucose amount, and to stabilize it the body will have to send more water to the urine. The water is taken from the blood that will increase the blood glucose levels.

Excessive Thirst
This is due to the frequent urination you experience as mentioned above. The body will lose much water from the urination and as the result your body will require more water intake to avoid dehydration, that is why you feel thirsty.

Loss of Weight
Type 1 diabetes patients usually also experience losing some of their weights. It is also can be connected to the frequent urination above as it will make the body can’t have enough energy due to the glucose loss from the urination. Since there is not enough energy can be created the body will have to take it from the fat deposits then go to our muscle tissues. That is why people with type 1 diabetes experience weight loss.

Extreme Hunger Feeling
People with type 1 diabetes has no or lack of insulin that is needed by our body to process the food intake and send the glucose created to the entire body cells. This condition will make our body cells don’t have enough nutrition needed, and as the result our body will keep sending a signal that we need more food intake, even if we have just finished the last meal 5 minutes ago.

Fatigue
Another symptom of type 1 diabetes is they are easily experience fatigue and weakness. This is caused by other factors mentioned above. You urinate frequently then your body loses water and glucose that result to lack of energy. The body will have to create the energy from the deposited fat and muscle that will make you lose weight and at the same time the body cells doesn’t get enough nutrition. Combine them together it is no surprise if extreme weakness is a common symptom found on most people with type 1 diabetes.
